Emerson Geophysical is a full-service geophysical consulting company specializing in high-quality data collection for the energy and exploration industries, as well as ground penetrating radar (GPR) for utility location and municipal applications. Our work is supported by a team of seasoned professionals with decades of combined experience across a broad range of geophysical techniques and varying terrain conditions.

Our seismic capabilities include both 2D and 3D seismic acquisition using multiple energy sources, including mini-hole dynamite, Vibroseis, and air gun technologies. We also bring extensive experience with GPR for near-surface location of buried objects, helping clients identify subsurface features with a focus on accuracy and operational practicality.

Working closely with our clients, we design surveys based on client-specified parameters and manage the full scope of permitting and field surveying. As part of our process, we produce detailed Pre-Plot and Post-Plot maps to support planning and to help ensure the integrity of data acquisition from start to finish..

Our equipment fleet includes three 62,000 lb AHV-III vibrator buggies and one 26,000 lb Univib, giving us the versatility and power required for a wide range of project sizes and terrains. Where Vibroseis access is limited or impractical, we can utilize shot holes as an alternative energy source. For near-surface clients, we operate a dual-frequency ground penetrating radar scanner, tailored to deliver relevant subsurface imaging for utility and municipal needs.
