What we do

Emerson Geophysical is a full-service seismic acquisition company specializing in high-quality data collection for the energy and exploration industries. Our team is composed of seasoned professionals with decades of combined experience across a broad range of geophysical techniques and terrain. Our expertise spans 2D and 3D seismic acquisition, and we are proficient in the use of mini-hole dynamite, Vibroseis, and air gun technologies.

Working closely with our clients, we design surveys based on client-specified parameters and manage the full scope of permitting and field surveying. As part of our process, we produce detailed Pre-Plot and Post-Plot maps to support planning and ensure the integrity of data acquisition.

Our equipment fleet includes three 62,000 lb AHV-III vibrator buggies and one 26,000 lb Univib, providing the versatility and power required for a wide range of project sizes and terrains. For locations where Vibroseis access is limited or impractical, we have the capability to utilize shot holes as an alternative energy source.

At Emerson Geophysical, we take great pride in minimizing our environmental footprint. Our goal is to leave each project site in the same condition as we found it—ensuring that once the work is complete, there is little to no trace of our presence.
